After travelling 2 km from Kalka, the highway enters the Himachal Pradesh zone. Parwanoo is the first area on the highway in Himachal Pradesh. The highway then passes through Solan, Shimla, Narkanda, Rampur, Kalpa,andPuh and ends at Shipkila near Khab.
