Manali does not have its own railway station. Jogindernagar is the closest railway station to Manali which is 50 km away and can connect nearby cities. Another station which lies near to Manali is Chandigarh which is 174 km away. Chandigarh is the main junction which serves railway route to Manali from any part of India.
There is no airport in Manali. The nearest airport is located in Bhuntar in Kullu which is 50 km away from Manali. The airport operates domestic flights from Delhi and Chandigarh to Kullu. Once you reach Kullu, you can take a taxi or bus to reach Manali. The availability of flights is subject to weather conditions. So, this is a less preferred way of commuting to Manali from Delhi.
