Manali tourism seasons

Surrounded by the mountains, Manali blessed with warm and pleasant weather conditions. Manali flocked by tourists every year due to its year-round climate. Trekking, hiking, paragliding, mountain sports, rafting,and zorbing are usually enjoyed during the summer season and skiing and ice skating are enjoyed during the winter months. Let’s find out the different seasons in Manali.

Low tourism Season time Manali

Monsoon falls from July to mid-September. There will be dangerous landslides during this season. Hence, it is less preferred for tourism. But hotel prices will be less during this period. If you wish to admire Manali without any crowd, you can try to visit Manali during this season.

Mid tourism Season in Manali

Manali sees winter between October and February. This is the best time to visit Manali. If you love cold weather and a bit of snowfall, January is the right time to pay a visit to Manali. During this month, the temperature drops to zero degree Celsius. Families and old age people prefer not to visit in winters as this season is too cold. Couples prefers to visit Manali in this season so it is Mid tourism season in Manali

High tourism season in Manali

From March to June, Manali experiences summer season. This is high season time for tourism in Manali.  Many people enjoy paragliding, rafting and a variety of mountain sports during this period. The temperature during this season ranges from 10 degree Celsius to 25 degree Celsius. Snowfall can be found only at high altitudes. The weather remains warm during the day and cold during the night.

Which is the best time to visit Manali?

Summer always preferred by tourists because of summer holidays and unbearable heat in plain areas. In summer season, many areas get coloured by plenty of trekkers in Manali. Winter seasons see a lot of casual travellers and honeymoon couples.  So, it is good time to visit Manali for couples .

An autumn is also the preferable time to visit during September and October. A variation from 10 degree Celsius to 20 degree Celsius can be seen in temperature in Manali during autumn season.  However Manali have different colours in every season but summer considered the best time to visit Manali
