Pandoh dam located 25 km from Mandi town on Shimla Manali road constructed on river Bias. This lake is centre of attraction for the people travelling to Manali. Pondoh lake is water reservoir pond primarily used to generate power for Himachal Pradesh. This dam has constructed in 1977 to reserve water for the dam. It has become a tourist sight as all the people travelling to Manali or Leh Ladakh reaches their destination after crossing this dam. So it has become on the way sightseeing spot.
