Manali has started being famous from a few decades as most admired destination of northern India. Natural slopes, salubrious climate and local laws make it better destination than Kashmir. Manali have no sign of Colonial history, British has not developed any area her unlike Shimla. Manali slowly got prominence because of its ecology and adventure favorable geography. December, January and February are winter months in Shimla. In first two weeks of February Manali weather remains very cold. Temperature rise a little in last week but that just 1 O C or 2 O C . Minimum temperature ranges a few degree more or less from zero.
Temperature History
Manali temperature stays at freezing level throughout the month of February. Temperature of fist two weeks remains lower as compared to last two weeks. Maximum temperature remains 7 O C to 10 O C, for first 2 weeks and it stays between 9 O C to 12 O C for last two weeks. Minimum temperature remains approximate same throughout the month between – 3 O C to 0 O C.

Activities
You can have a lot of snow activities like skiing, Manali has acclaimed as one of the best venue for skiing in winters. You can take part in national skiing competition organized every year in winters in Solang Valley. You can try Paragliding in Solang Nala, variety of packages of paragliding are available at Solang Valley. Other than this, Paragliding equipments are also available on rental basis, you can enjoy Paraglding as per your convenience Activities like zorbing, Rafting, fishing, river crossing can also be done at Manali. You can also check dates of winter carnival organized every year in winters and enjoy various local performances and competitions.
Travel Tips
In the month of February, weather is cold you should keep your warm clothes e.g. socks, thermal, muffler, shawl, jackets and heavy woolens. Don’t forget to rent of buy snow boots and dresses before going deep snow.
