By Rail
Joginder Nagar is the nearest railway station to Kullu which is 100 km away. You can also take a train till Chandigarh railway station (265 Km). Taxi to Kullu can be found from Chandigarh railways station. You can also travel by bus from Chandigarh to Kullu after reaching Chandigarh by train.
By Road
The easiest and most preferred way to travel to Kullu is by road. Kullu is well connected to the major cities of Himachal, Hariyana and Punjab. Buses are available from Delhi, Chandigarh, Ambala, Pathankot, and Shimla.

Bijli Mahadev Temple (6 Kms)
Bijli Mahadev Temple is one of the renowned holy shrines in Kullu located at an altitude of 2460 m above the sea level. The temple is located at just 5.6 km away from the Kullu Bus Stand.
Lord Shiva is the main god in the temple. You need to cross the Beas River to reach the temple. The temple offers beautiful views of the Paravati and Kullu valley. You need to take a 3 km moderate to difficult trek uphill to reach the temple.
Bekhli Mata Temple ( 4 Kms)
Bekhli Mata temple located 4 km away from Kullu Town. Bekhli temple got its name because of so many Bekhli trees surrounding the temple. This is the temple of Godess Jaganathi. Travellers can reach the temple after the trekking of 1.5 hour on a steep terrain. A spectacular view is their at the top of mountain near Bekhli temple.
Tirthan Valley (70 Kms)
Tirthan Valley offers panoramic views of stunning hills and rivers. The Tirthan River in this area is popular for angling activity.

Gauri Shankar Temple is one of the ancient temples of Kullu. You can find the temple below Naggar castle in Naggar Village.
The temple is located at just 22 km from the Kullu Bus Stand. This Shiva temple was built around 12th century AD. The temple is designed in Shikhara architecture.
Bhrigu Lake ( 57 Kms )
