You can alsotravel the Rohtang Pass by taxi. Govtallows 1200 vehicles run on diesel and petrol on per day basis. Govt issuea proper permit for Rohtang pass 6 daysbefore travel date. - Rohtang pass is a cold place inevery season. You should wear proper winter clothing before going to Rohtang.Jackets, Snow boots, Gloves, Snow Pants, Winter socks are available on rent atthe various shop on the way to Rohtang. Warm inner wears you should put on fromyourself.
- Rohtang is closed on Tuesday for maintenance of the road.
